The O’Cannabiz Conference & Expo is happening at The International Centre in Toronto this week. With keynote speakers like Montel Williams and Ricki Lake, along with more than 275 exhibitors, the conference has considered to be one of the most influential cannabis conferences in the world covering a wide range of topics, including policy, marketing, cultivation, science, operations, finance and emerging topics.
The annual O’Cannabiz Industry Awards Gala wrapped up last night highlighting cannabis leaders across a wide spectrum of categories, from cannabis-focused agencies to the best pre-rolls.

Best Marketing Campaign
The Supreme Cannabis Company Inc.’s (TSX-V: FIRE) 7ACRES, a Canadian licensed producer of cannabis, was awarded with the best marketing campaign. The company has always been at the forefront of the movement and its Respect the Plant marketing campaign reflects both its focus on high-quality cannabis products and its passion for helping enthusiasts with craft cannabis products to match.
Best Security Service
3 Sixty Risk Solutions Ltd. (CSE: SAFE), a leading provider of cannabis security and consulting services, was awarded as having the best security service. With more than 600 customers, including 76 licensed producers, the company has become one of the most prolific ancillary service companies in the business. The acquisition of INKAS® will further extend its reach and create one of the largest secure cannabis transport companies.
Licensed Producer of the Year
Aurora Cannabis Inc. (NYSE: ACB), a leading Canadian licensed producer, was named licensed producer of the year at the O’Cannabiz gala. With a presence on five continents and 24 countries, the company has dramatically expanded its footprint over the past several years. The company’s 40 ongoing clinical studies and over 73,000 medical cannabis patients mean that it’s also making a big difference in health and wellness markets.
Brand of the Year
48North Cannabis Corp. (TSX-V: NRTH), a vertically-integrated cannabis producer focused on next-generation cannabis products, was awarded brand of the year at the O’Cannabiz gala. As one of the few women-led Canadian LPs, the company sets itself apart with a focus on next-generation products for the women’s health and wellness market as well as its early mover advantage on outdoor cultivation in Canada.
