Charlotte’s Web, the Colorado-based hemp and CBD company, is continuing to explore the possibility of either uplisting to either the Toronto Stock Exchange or U.S. exchanges.
Various options are being looked at, including a possible listing on the New York Stock Exchange, CEO Hesaam Moallem told analysts on a conference call to discuss the company’s latest earnings.
Charlotte’s Web currently trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the ticker CWEB.
CFO Rich Mohr stressed the importance of the company focusing on research and development to improve the efficacy of its CBD products.
“As an industry leader, we have a responsibility to be the steward of some of that science,” Mohr said.
The company will also focus on improving its retail and e-commerce footprint in 2019 and investigating other hemp-derived products.
