An Illinois hemp business is suing an Oregon company for nearly $3 million, alleging that it sold mobile hemp drying equipment that failed within a month.

The lawsuit alleges that Grasco Hemp bought three drying units for more than $200,000 from Drying Solutions, but two if the units stopped working after two weeks and a third failed after almost a month.

The lawsuit accuses Drying Solutions, of Grant Pass, Oregon, of promising that each unit could dry up to 2,500 pounds of freshly harvested hemp within 24 hours.

The lawsuit says Grasco lost money because its clients had to find alternatives to drying their crops.
