New York – NY Ilera Healthcare is looking to two pharmaceutical industry veterans to lead it into the future of cannabis science and medicine.
Pennsylvania’s premiere medical cannabis cultivation and dispensary has tapped former Chief Operating Officer Dr. Oludare “Dare” Odumosu, as its new Chief Scientific Officer/EVP
Pharmaceutical Division. Dr. Odumosu will be charged with driving research, development and implementation of Ilera’s proprietary ‘pharmaceutical-grade’ medicines and therapeutic platforms to the global marketplace. Dr. Odumosu, who holds a PhD in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Public Health-Epidemiology and Biostatistics, brings 10 years of experience in corporate pharmaceutical business development, operations and strategic alliance management to his new role.
Tom Borger will also join the Ilera Healthcare team as their new Chief Operating Officer, with a 
focus on building a world class marketing and retail operation. Borger brings a unique blend of marketing, technology and general management experience and has worked extensively in both start-up and large companies—including Johnson & Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline. He is a Duke graduate who earned his MBA in Entrepreneurial Management/Marketing from the Wharton School of Business, and has taught courses at Wharton’s Small Business Development Center and Villanova’s School of Business. He is the author of an innovation book, Diary of an Innovator—Finding the Path Not Taken and delivered a TEDx talk—“The Power of Inexperience.”
