California hemp and marijuana producer Goldenseed has added former “Shark Tank” investor Kevin Harrington to its advisory board.
Goldenseed, a privately held company in Santa Cruz, said that Harrington has also invested in the company, though it did not say how much.
Harrington was an early television informercial pitchman and appeared on the first two seasons of “Shark Tank,” a business reality show in which entrepreneurs pitch investors on their ideas.
“His extensive experience in supporting entrepreneurs and bringing retail products to market on a national and global scale are great assets to add to our team as we look to expand our footprint in the high-growth hemp/CBD industry,” Goldenseed CEO Scott Goldie said in a statement.
