First medical marijuana dispensary in Southwest Ohio set to open Tuesday in Lebanon

The first medical marijuana dispensary in Southwest Ohio will open Tuesday, according to the owners of the About Wellness Ohio dispensary in Lebanon.
The dispensary’s owners were notified earlier this week that the dispensary passed its final inspection for a certificate of operation necessary to stock and sell medical marijuana products in Ohio, according to one of the owners, Tejal Desai.
Desai is one of four pharmacists who own and operate the Lebanon dispensary in a strip mall at 1525 Genntown Drive. The dispensary will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for state and local elected officials, but the store won’t be open to the public until next week.
The dispensary will carry a range of medical marijuana products when it opens, including edible gummies, cannabis-infused oils and various strains of bud, or cannabis flower, according to Desai.
