MJBizCon Week Has Arrived

After a wild year for the cannabis industry, the penultimate B2B conference has finally arrived. MJBizCon week is officially underway in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, with tens of thousands of marijuana professionals set to arrive. This year’s event promises to be the biggest and most critical ever, as the industry enters a new decade filled with unknowns. As everybody prepares for a marathon of panels, networking happy hours, and expo floor exploration, here’s a quick breakdown of some of the can’t miss moments of MJBizCon 2019.

Speakers Include Cannabis Heavyweights, Mainstream Moguls

MJBizCon is known for bringing together some of the greatest minds to share their knowledge, covering a wide variety of topics. There is literally something for everyone. This year’s keynote speaker is Marc Randolph, Founding CEO of streaming supergiant Netflix, who is bringing his story to the cannabis industry for the very first time.

Other speakers of note include Senator Tom Daschle, Marijuana Business Daily Co-founder Cassandra Farrington, and Neal Levine, CEO of the Cannabis Trade Federation.

Add-on Programs Make for a Personalized Touch

With a conference as big as MJBizCon, it’s imperative to make the most out of your time. Attendees are encouraged to consider their overall goals prior to arriving in order to maximize ROI. The biggest soirees seem to be the ever elusive Golden Key party, now in its third year, Dream WOW, the brainchild of Dan Schmink (the industry enigma behind last year’s hit event Cannabis Wonderland), and Dream House, the first MJBizCon party from Farechild, a new project from Dave Tran and James Zachodni of DOPE Magazine fame. There are also a number of affiliated events listed on the MJBizCon site and app, making planning easier than ever.

Final Thought

MJBizCon is always one of the most anticipated events for the cannabis industry, delivering an action-packed end to the year. And while it may not be possible to hit every booth or happy hour you hope to, having a clear intention set is often all it takes to have success – and an extra suitcase for all the swag.
