The wait is over: San Francisco’s cannabis lounges are now open! If you haven’t yet been to the delightful ganja experience of a lounge, now is the time! These lounges are an amazing extension of the regular dispensary experience. Once you’ve collected your items and paid, you can walk on over to a booth or table, open up your good bag and spark that joint.
Moe Greens and Barbary Coast, two of the city’s cannabis lounges announced Friday, May 21, that they’d be re-opening up their spaces to the public. This is will happen with a few coronavirus guidelines.
Customers who want to access the lounge must maintain a six foot distance from others and have proof of their vaccination at least two weeks after their final dose.
This announcement comes after a long year of closed social establishments and events. This week, the San Fransisco General Hospital, one of the biggest hospitals in the bay area announced they had zero covid patients. This is a relieving milestone for the big city. San Francisco has also moved into the Yellow Tier with plans to have many other hospitality businesses open to full capacity.
By June 15, California plans to move away from the Tier system entirely, with all coronavirus restrictions lifted. So if you’re vaccinated and looking for a new place to spark up with your friends, head over to San Francisco. These lounges will for sure elevate your cannabis experience.
