Future Farm Technologies Inc. (the “Company” or “Future Farm”) (CSE: FFT) (OTCQB: FFRMF) is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the indoor cultivation stage of its 2019 hemp-for-wellness crop. Nearly 200,000 seedlings are now ready to be transplanted from the Company’s facility in Belfast, Maine to a 100-acre field in Hersey, Maine.

Future Farm continues to expect that the 2019 crop will yield over 130,000 pounds of biomass. The carefully controlled indoor propagation effort allows the transplanting to occur at the optimal time, despite an extraordinarily wet winter and spring. The timing will position the seedlings to mature into healthy plants yielding a high percentage of CBD and other valuable compounds.

The Company will process the biomass from the crop with the help of its valued processing providers. As a result, Future Farm expects to offer product manufacturers premium quality distillates, isolates, extracts, water soluble products and much sought after zero THC products.

According to Zachary Lapan and Nate Gray, the managers of the growing operation, “With our inaugural 2018 harvest and processing under our belts, and applying valuable lessons learned, we are confident that the 2019 crop will be outstanding.”

Future Farm Technologies Inc. (the “Company” or “Future Farm”) (CSE: FFT) (OTCQB: FFRMF) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Northeast Processing (“NEP”), a Vermont-based hemp processing company, to process, test and package all of the hemp grown by Future Farm on 100 acres in Maine in 2019.

NEP will have the capacity to process hemp biomass from Future Farm into top quality whole plant extract, CBD distillate and CBD isolate in less than four months.  Future Farm is now actively building its pipeline of customers who need full spectrum extract, distillate or isolate as the key ingredient for health and wellness consumer products in the rapidly growing market for those goods.  The agreement with NEP will allow Future Farm to provide its customers the premium ingredients they need quickly and cost-effectively.

Future Farm believes that NEP’s state-of-the-art facility in Brattleboro, combined with its experienced, sophisticated management team, are an outstanding addition to Future Farm’s plan to grow its hemp-for-wellness business significantly in 2019 and beyond.

“This is an exciting relationship for us to build on as we begin our 2019 season,” comments William Gildea, CEO of Future Farm. “This partnership with Northeast Processing allows for a scalable, efficient approach to processing, ensuring that our biomass receives the fastest, most reliable care the northeast has to offer. It also positions Future Farm, once again, as an innovator in the rapidly growing demand for the sophisticated hemp-for-wellness customer base.”

Future Farm Technologies Inc. (the “Company” or “Future Farm”) (CSE: FFT) (OTCQB: FFRMF) is pleased to announce that it has begun preparations for the propagation of its 2019 hemp-for-wellness crop in Belfast, Maine. The Company will be growing its Cherry Wine cultivar over 100 acres of farmland in Hersey, Maine, but is first propagating the plants indoors at the Belfast facility.

Future Farm expects to harvest over 120,000 pounds of biomass this season, with each plant producing approximately one pound of biomass. Planting on 100 acres requires a tremendous amount of planning to align labor, care for the plants at each stage, preparation of the field, and transplanting of the seedlings.  Future Farm is planning to have the biomass from its Maine operations processed into full spectrum hemp oil, CBD distillate and CBD isolate for sale to manufacturers of products using those valuable ingredients.  Building on its ongoing successful seed business, the Company projects that it will produce over two million hemp seeds in 2019, almost double the production of its 2018 inaugural season.  This plan positions Future Farm to be among the largest suppliers of high-quality hemp seed in the Northeast United States.

“We have been focused on caring for the seeds we are about to grow since we harvested them in 2018 because they have outstanding genetics that provide high propagation rates and high CBD content,” comments Zachary Lapan, General Manager of Future Farm Maine. He continues, “It’s always exciting for me, as a farmer and a manager, to see that first sprout.”
