Cuba is best known for its classic cigars and cars, but did you know this nation has a proud coffee heritage? Indeed, there’s such a thing as the “Cuban espresso.” There’s also a fabulous cocktail that blends high-end Cuban rum with the refreshing notes of cold brew coffee: The Havana Café!

If you’re interested in a lesser-known Cuban cocktail, then this post is for you. And, as always, we couldn’t help adding a little Tribe CBD oil to this delicious drink!

CBD Havana Café Recipe

Taste Tribe’s CBD Havana Café

One of the rare features of the Havana Café cocktail is that it calls for añejo rum. Like tequila, the label “añejo” signifies this rum has been aged for years before going on the market. Since these dark rums are so premier, many people reserve them for sipping without extra ingredients.

However, if you want the authentic Havana Café experience, you’re going to have to splurge on the Havana Club’s añejo clásico rum variety. Apparently, the nuanced flavors in this well-aged rum marry beautifully with the other ingredients.

Of course, if you don’t feel like pouring this premium rum in your Havana Café, we won’t tell anyone your secret. Heck, you don’t even have to use Cuban rum to appreciate this drink’s flavors.

As always, we recommend using whatever spirits suit your drinking preferences. If you don’t let your guests know which rum you’re using, they probably won’t be able to spot a significant difference.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Havana Club añejo clásico rum
• ¾ oz sweet vermouth
• ½ oz cold brew coffee
• ½ oz simple syrup
• 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil
• Lemon twist, optional

Directions

• Pour rum, sweet vermouth, coffee, and simple syrup into a mixing glass
• Add ice and stir for a few seconds
• Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass
• Top with Tribe CBD oil and a lemon twist

Everyone seems to have a different opinion on caffeine’s effects. For instance, some psychologists claim caffeine works wonders for anxiety, while others say it causes restlessness.

Like CBD, caffeine tends to affect each person differently at different doses. Currently, doctors recommend healthy adults drink no more than 400 mg of caffeine per day, but this could vary depending on your reaction.

By the way, a dropperful of Tribe CBD oil may help keep caffeine’s typical side effects in check. While there’s no scientific evidence regarding CBD’s impact on caffeine, many coffee drinkers claim CBD helps keep them calm and focused while enjoying a java-fueled “brain boost.”

Tom Collins cocktails are refreshing during the summer, but they may not be as splendid when autumn rolls around. If you love seasonal spritzers, then you should consider trying this pear-infused Tom Collins rendition. You’ll still enjoy the bright citrus and botanicals in the original, plus some sweet pear aromatics.

To give this Pear Collins an extra “punch” of calm, we’re going to add a dropperful of Tribe CBD oil. A little hemp extract is all it takes to turn up this cocktail’s relaxation factor.

CBD Pear Collins Recipe

Tribe’s CBD Pear Collins Recipe

If you can’t find a pear-infused liqueur in your nearest store, you may want to try your hand at making this ingredient. Don’t worry; it’s not as complicated as it sounds. Honestly, the most important thing you need to make pear liqueur is patience.

To make this recipe, core and dice one medium-sized pear and put it in a large mason jar. Add about one cup of brandy and let the mixture sit for about four to five days.

Once your brandy mixture is ready, core and chop another pear and heat it in a pot over medium-low heat with one cup of sugar and one cup of water. Keep stirring till this mix reaches a simmer and all the sugar dissolves.

Lastly, when your peach-infused simple syrup is cool, pour it into the brandy infusion. Let this sit for a few days, or until it reaches your desired flavor. When your liqueur is ready, simply pour it through a fine strainer to remove all the pear particles.

Please note: This recipe is just a bare-bones approach to making peach liqueur. There are plenty of additional ingredients you could add to jazz up the flavor. So, if you’re interested in experimenting with vanilla extract, honey, or vodka, go ahead and let your imagination run wild!

Ingredients

• 1 ½ oz gin
• 2 oz pear-infused liqueur
• ½ oz lemon juice
• Seltzer water, to top
• 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil
• Fresh pear slices, optional

Directions

• Pour gin, pear liqueur, lemon juice, and Tribe CBD oil into a cocktail shaker
• Shake with ice until well chilled
• Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass
• Serve with pear slices if desired

Long before the term “superfood” was invented, pears were a pretty big deal amongst nutritionists. In fact, many traditional doctors in China and Korea still regard the pear as the “fruit of immortality.”

One of the “core” benefits of eating a pear is its high amounts of fiber. Current estimates suggest just one pear has 22 percent of your recommended fiber intake. Considering most Americans eat well below the daily recommended dose of 25 grams of fiber, adding just one pear to your life could make a big difference.

Is CBD Oil Good For Digestive Health?

Speaking of fiber, many people are curious whether CBD has any gut-healing benefits. At this point, nobody’s sure how the endocannabinoid system interacts with digestive health. However, there’s preliminary research that CBD may reduce symptoms of nausea. Also, since CBD seems to have anti-anxiety effects, it may help settle a “stressed out” stomach.

What’s a Christmas feast without a plateful of warm gingerbread cookies? While these treats are a staple December dessert, did you know you could “spike” these subtly spicy sweets? Just try mixing up a gingerbread martini!

Better yet, add a drizzle of Tribe CBD oil to the top of this holiday-themed cocktail. All it takes is a tiny bit of our high-quality hemp extract to make everyone a little extra jolly!

CBD Gingerbread Martini Recipe

When people say “everything’s bigger in Texas,” they’re probably not thinking of festive gingerbread houses. However, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, one Texas company earns credit for building the largest gingerbread house.

In 2013, the Texas A&M Traditions Club built a staggeringly sweet gingerbread house that measured 60’ x 42’ x 10’. In terms of area, this house was just under 40,000 ft2, and in terms of calories…well, maybe we’d better not share that stat. After all, calories don’t count during the holidays!

The best thing about this gingerbread project is that it was made for a charitable cause. Not only did this house inspire everyone who visited it, but the team behind it donated their proceeds to a local hospital. Now that’s the true holiday spirit!

Ingredients

• 1 oz Bailey’s Irish cream
• 1 oz vanilla-flavored vodka
• 1 oz Kahlua
• 1 oz Torani gingerbread syrup
• 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil
• Whipped cream
• Peppermint stick, optional

Directions

• Pour Irish cream, vodka, Kahlua, and gingerbread syrup into a cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake for a few seconds
• Strain into a chilled martini glass
• Top with whipped cream, Tribe CBD oil, and a peppermint stick

The Swedes may not have invented gingerbread cookies, but they sure have a lot of superstitions surrounding this dessert. For instance, did you know you could make a wish with a gingerbread cookie? Indeed, according to Swedish legend, you could hold a gingerbread in your hands and silently ask for something you desire.

However, there is a significant stipulation to using this wish-making method. After you tell your gingerbread your request, you have to break it apart with one hand. How the “cookie crumbles” determines whether you’ll get your wish. Specifically, it has to break into three pieces for your desire to manifest.

While we’re on the subject of Swedish superstitions, some records suggest the Swedish King Hans used gingerbread cookies to combat melancholy. However, considering how cheery most people feel after eating gingerbread cookies, that’s not such a shocking superstition!

Chances are you’ve had a glass of Champagne at a wedding or a graduation by now. You’ve also probably tried Ireland’s famous Guinness beer at least once in your life. However, have you ever thought of combining these two drinks? While it may sound weird to mix French Champagne with Dublin’s darkest draught, bartenders have been doing it for decades. In fact, there’s a cocktail named for this unlikely pair: Black Velvet.

If you’re thinking of giving the Black Velvet a try at your next get-together, check out how Tribe CBD mixes this beverage. Oh yeah, and since this drink is partially Irish, don’t forget to add a little “green” with Tribe’s CBD oil! It’s only fitting, right?

Tribe’s CBD Black Velvet Recipe

Tribe’s CBD Black Velvet Cocktail

While the Black Velvet has been keeping drinkers happy for centuries, it has a tragic origin story. Apparently, bartenders created the Black Velvet cocktail shortly after Prince Albert’s untimely death.

For those who know their British history, Prince Albert was Queen Victoria’s husband from 1840 – 1861. Tragically, Prince Albert was only 42 when he died of typhoid fever. Amazingly, Queen Victoria would survive Prince Albert for another 40 years—and she would stay in mourning for the rest of her life.

Bonus trivia: Did you know Prince Albert could have died much sooner due to an accident near Buckingham Palace? Apparently, the prince was skating on thin ice when he fell into a frigid pond in 1841. Luckily for Prince Albert, Queen Victoria rushed in at the nick of time to save him. Had he died in this incident, Prince Albert would have been just 22.

Ingredients

• 4 oz Champagne
• 4 oz Guinness black lager
• 1 dropperful of Tribe CBD oil

Directions

• Pour Champagne in a pre-chilled flute or a clear beer mug
• Pour black stout over the back of a bar spoon into your mug
• Top with Tribe CBD oil

It’s always important to keep your cocktails well-chilled for the best drinking experience. However, as you probably noticed, there’s no ice in a traditional Black Velvet cocktail. So, how are you going to keep this drink cold for guests? Simple: plan ahead!

Please be sure to put your Champagne and Guinness in the fridge at least a few hours before preparing this drink. You should also put your serving glasses in the refrigerator to get them nice and frosty.

However, don’t worry too much if you forget to put your glasses in the fridge. There is a neat trick you could use in case you forget to pre-chill your Champagne flutes. Before grabbing all your ingredients, put a handful of ice in your serving glass and let it sit for a few minutes. When you’re ready to start mixing, just dump out the ice and follow the recipe above. This quick-fix may not be as good as putting your glasses in the fridge, but it’s better than nothing.

Sleep Tight With Tribe CBD Sleep Shots

Considering all the alcohol in a standard Black Velvet, it’s likely this drink will make you snore within a few hours. However, it’s not a great idea to rely on Black Velvets to combat insomnia. For all-natural sleep relief, we recommend trying Tribe’s CBD Sleep Shots. With a combination of hemp extract and melatonin, our CBD Sleep Shots should put you in a sleepy state of mind in no time.

While the strawberry daiquiri has more star power, bananas are a tasty addition to this Cuban cocktail. Honestly, any drink that contains rum usually blends well with bananas’ distinctive flavors. As a bonus, there’s no need to feel self-conscious while shaking this cocktail…because it’s made in a blender!

Whenever you need a cold, refreshing drink to remind you of summertime, the banana daiquiri will satisfy your cravings. And don’t forget to add a little Tribe CBD oil for extra stress-busting effects.

CBD Banana Daiquiri Recipe

Tribe’s CBD Banana Daiquiri

While it may seem impossible to eat a banana’s peel, it is edible. In fact, many people around the world don’t toss away the peel while eating a banana. Some nutritionists claim a banana’s peel holds an impressive array of nutrients, especially fiber.

However, if you’re going to try munching on a banana peel, you should only use organic fruits. Unfortunately, it’s common to find pesticide residue on many commercially available bananas. The best way to limit your exposure to these nasty chemicals is to go organic.

By the way, you don’t have to eat a banana peel to enjoy its unique benefits. For instance, many people use the inside of banana peels to reduce skin itchiness. So, the next time a mosquito bites you, try rubbing some banana on your skin!

Ingredients

• ~ 1 cup ice
• 1 sliced banana
• 1 oz rum
• ½ oz triple sec
• ½ oz lime juice
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil
• Maraschino cherry

Directions

• Add all ingredients to a blender except the Maraschino cherry
• Blitz until smooth
• Pour into a serving glass
• Top with Maraschino cherry

Despite the immense popularity of bananas—or perhaps because of it?—a few people suggest this fruit isn’t the healthiest option. Apparently, some folks can’t believe a fruit as delicious as a banana can also have health benefits!

However, if you ask most nutritionists, they will say bananas are a great addition to a healthful diet. Most notably, bananas are a rich source of potassium, which may have heart health benefits. There are even a few studies suggesting bananas’ antioxidant properties may have a positive effect on asthma.

To supercharge your morning banana smoothies, consider adding a few walnuts or almonds. Not only will these nutty flavors compliment your bananas, they are full of healthy omega-3 fatty acids.

How Should You Take Tribe CBD Oil When It’s Not In A Cocktail?

As frequent readers already know, we love sharing creative ways to mix Tribe CBD oil into delicious drinks. However, we understand that most days you can’t take CBD oil in cocktail form. So, how should you squeeze Tribe CBD oil into your daily routine? Simple: Take it sublingually!

Don’t get thrown off by the scientific term. “Sublingual” refers to glands under our tongue that can absorb CBD into our bloodstream. To take advantage of these glands, put your desired amount of CBD under your tongue, wait about 30 seconds, and then swallow. This simple method will guarantee you’re absorbing near 100 percent of our hemp CBD extract.

Wherever you stand on the pineapple pizza debate, we bet you’ll enjoy adding a punch of pineapple to your margarita hour. The tropical notes of fresh pineapple juice blend perfectly with the margarita’s famous “South of the Border” flavors. Whenever you’re in the mood for a salt & sweet drink, be sure to break out this tantalizing alternative margarita recipe.

Oh yeah, and don’t forget to drizzle a little Tribe CBD oil on top of this sweet concoction. A dropperful of our high-quality CBD always makes drinks extra delightful!

CBD Pineapple Margarita Recipe

Tribe’s CBD Pineapple Margarita

In case you were wondering, you can plant a pineapple tree at home. All you need to do is cut off the top and put it in some soil. Just be sure to give it enough water and sun so it can thrive. Yep, it’s that simple.

The catch is that you won’t get to enjoy that delicious pineapple fruit for a long time. Even if you take great care of your pineapple tree, you shouldn’t expect to pick a pineapple for at least three years. Once a pineapple tree reaches maturity, it usually produces one fruit per year for roughly 50 years.

So, even if you have a pineapple tree at home, you’re probably still going to rely on the supermarket for this delicious fruit!

Ingredients

• 1 ½ oz tequila blanco
• 2 oz pineapple juice
• ¾ oz Cointreau
• ¾ oz lime juice
• 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil
• Kosher salt
• Pineapple wedge, garnish

Directions

• Run a lime wedge around a margarita glass
• Dip your margarita glass in a plate with Kosher salt
• Pour tequila, pineapple juice, Cointreau, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake for a few seconds
• Strain into your salt-rimmed margarita glass
• Garnish with Tribe CBD oil and a pineapple wedge

Pineapples sometimes get a bad rap for their high sugar content. However, this tropical fruit is far from an “unhealthy” addition to your diet. Actually, as scientists continue to study pineapple’s chemical structure, they’re amazed by how many nutrients are in this fruit.

Arguably, the enzyme bromelain is the most fascinating compound in pineapples. This unique chemical seems to have natural anti-inflammatory benefits that may influence multiple bodily systems. There’s also some evidence bromelain could naturally speed up digestion in healthy patients.

However, the most intriguing studies related to bromelain have to do with its impact on eye health. New trials out of Taiwan strongly suggest a daily dose of fresh pineapple could drastically reduce those annoying “eye floaters” you may see while staring at your computer screen. According to scientists, people who eat more bromelain-rich pineapple have less chance of seeing these protein deposits throughout the day.

So, if you’re one of the countless people who suffer from eye floaters, you’ve got to try adding a little pineapple to your daily diet. Hey, you’ve got nothing to lose (except your eye floaters, of course!).

Although you could buy pumpkin purée any time of the year, this orange fruit really shines during the fall season. And, no, we’re not just referring to pumpkin spice lattes (although those are kind of a big deal). From jack-o-lanterns to pumpkin bread, there are so many ways to use pumpkins during autumn.

Arguably, pumpkin pie “takes the cake” as the most iconic autumnal dessert. But who says you have to slave all day baking one of these pies? Believe it or not, you could whip up a boozy pumpkin pie cocktail in a matter of minutes!

Sure, this pumpkin pie martini isn’t a replacement for an actual pie, but it’s a sweet and simple way to liven up a party. Plus, since we’re adding Tribe CBD oil to this cocktail, it’s sure to calm any family drama at your next Thanksgiving!

CBD Pumpkin Pie Martini Recipe

CBD Pumpkin Pie Martini Recipe

In the pantheon of pies, pumpkin isn’t all that bad for our waistlines. In fact, many nutritionists argue pumpkin pie may be the healthiest traditional pie recipe.

Pumpkin is naturally high in many vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin A. There’s also evidence that pumpkin contains plenty of antioxidants, which may reduce the risk of long-term health conditions.

This is all good news considering one in five Americans claims they ate a whole pumpkin pie at least once in their lives. Yes, that’s a real statistic from the American Pie Council!

However, there is a big difference between homemade and store-bought pumpkin pies. If you want to treat your body right, you should make a low or no-sugar pumpkin pie at home.

Thankfully, cans of unsweetened pumpkin aren’t all that hard to find. Plus, even if you’ve never baked before, pumpkin pie is one of the easiest recipes for beginners.

If you’re interested in making a DIY pumpkin pie this year, you’ve got to check out this popular YouTube tutorial.

Ingredients

• 1 ½ oz pumpkin-flavored vodka
• 1 oz spiced rum
• ½ oz heavy cream
• 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée
• ½ oz vanilla extract
• 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil
• Cinnamon stick or pumpkin slice, garnish

Directions

• Pour vodka, rum, heavy cream, pumpkin purée, and vanilla extract into a cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake for a few seconds
• Strain into a pre-chilled martini glass
• Garnish with Tribe CBD oil and a cinnamon stick

One feature you may miss as you slurp your pumpkin martini is the crispy pie crust. However, there are a few fun ways you could add some of that “crunch” back into this seasonal cocktail.

For instance, you could stick crushed Graham crackers on the rim of your martini glass with either raw honey or maple syrup. Just be sure to ground these Graham crackers in a food processor until they’re fine. For extra fun, you could toss in a pinch of ground nutmeg or cinnamon to add festive flavors to this rimmed garnish.

Everyone could use more blueberries in their diet, so why not smash a few into this new gin fizz cocktail? While you could add blueberries to many classic drinks, they blend in perfectly with the flavors in gin. Since gin already has traces of juniper berries, these sweet & tart aromatics mix wonderfully with a batch of antioxidant-rich blueberries.

For an extra dose of calm, Tribe CBD decided to add a little hemp extract to this fruit-forward cocktail. All you need is one dropperful of CBD oil to add plenty of chill to your brilliant blueberry bev.

Blueberry Gin Fizz Recipe

Tribe’s CBD Blueberry Gin Fizz

Everyone agrees that blueberries are a superfood, but what about spirits like gin? Surprisingly, when compared with other liquors, gin earns high marks from many nutritionists. Most of gin’s supposedly healthy features come from heavy traces of juniper berries. Current estimates suggest juniper has at least 80 antioxidant compounds, many of which don’t degrade in the distillation process.

One of the most notable benefits of juniper seems to be its effect on the circadian rhythm. Researchers claim juniper has certain compounds that help naturally ease you into bed, which makes gin an excellent choice for a nightcap.

However, we’d reckon it’s still safer to rely on a non-alcoholic supplement like CBD oil before bed rather than gin. FYI: Tribe CBD now sells all-natural CBD Sleep Shots with both hemp extract and melatonin. If you’re looking for a non-boozy way to get to bed, be sure to give this product a try.

Ingredients

• 2 oz gin
• ½ oz lemon juice
• ½ oz simple syrup
• ¼ cup blueberries, fresh
• Seltzer water
• Rosemary or thyme sprigs, garnish
• 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil

Directions

• Pour gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and blueberries into a cocktail shaker
• Muddle until blueberries are well smashed
• Add ice and shake for a few seconds
• Strain or pour into a pre-chilled rocks glass
• Top with seltzer water
• Garnish with Tribe CBD oil and thyme or rosemary

Even if you’re not a fan of rosemary’s aromatics, you should consider easing this herb into your daily life. There are dozens of scientific studies that show rosemary is one of Mother Nature’s best brain boosters. For instance, in one trial, researchers found that students who took a test while smelling rosemary essential oil scored better than other groups.

There’s also mounting evidence that rosemary may play a crucial role in restoring hair loss. So, the next time you’re shopping for shampoo, be sure it has some rosemary in it!

Will CBD Make Me Smarter?

While it seems like rosemary could boost your brainpower, we still don’t know CBD’s effects on intelligence. However, it’s clear that CBD oil will make going to school way less stressful. Indeed, one study out of Japan found that CBD helped high school students tame social anxiety versus placebo. Chances are, if you’re less stressed in school, you will absorb more information.

Whether you’re nervous before a big test or a big date, Tribe CBD oil should help keep your stress in check.

When you see a Green Mile cocktail for the first time, you may assume it has a tart flavor profile. Interestingly, this fruity concoction has zero citrus or green apple notes. Instead, the Green Mile is a refreshing tropical mix ideal for fans of melon, coconut, and pineapple. Indeed, you could say this drink is a fun melon-infused riff on the famous piña colada

To make this drink extra “green,” we couldn’t help mixing in a dropperful of Tribe CBD oil. Don’t worry; you won’t get “high” with our CBD-infused Green Mile. However, this non-intoxicating cannabinoid will help keep you calm.

Green Mile CBD Cocktail

Melons, Malibu, And Marvelous CBD — Try Tribe’s Mellow CBD Green Mile

If you happen to have a lot of cash lying around, then you may want to consider splurging on a Yubari King melon garnish for your Green Mile. This unique cantaloupe variety is considered one of the rarest—and hence most expensive—melons in Japan’s luxury fruit market. Get this: two Yubari King melons sold for ~ 5 million Japanese yen (or 45,500 USD) in 2019.

So, what makes the Yubari King the “king” of melons? Well, a large part of it has to do with scarcity. Since authentic Yubari King melons could only be grown in Hokkaido, there aren’t many to go around. Another aspect has to do with the attention to detail gardeners place on making the perfect melon. From choosing the right seeds to manicuring the melon’s skin, a lot of time and effort goes into this pricey fruit.

As for taste, foodies say the Yubari King has a sublime sweetness. Considering the price some people paid for this fruit, we sure hope it tastes good!

Ingredients

• 1 oz of melon liqueur
• ~ 3 oz of pineapple juice
• ¾ oz of Malibu coconut rum
• ¼ oz of Cointreau
• 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil

Directions

• Pour melon liqueur, pineapple juice, coconut rum, and Cointreau in a cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake for a few seconds
• Strain into a pre-chilled hurricane glass
• Top with Tribe CBD oil

Speaking of “green,” it may surprise you just how much money is flowing into the new hemp market. Recent reports have shown the US hemp industry hit over $5 billion in 2021. Impressively, most financial experts believe the CBD industry has more room to run. In fact, recent projections suggest the global CBD market could reach $55 billion before 2030!

Even if you don’t own a wellness clinic, you’ve probably considered adding some high-quality CBD products to your portfolio. One of the easiest ways to offer customers CBD is to work with a hemp wholesale partner like Tribe CBD. That’s right, Tribe CBD now offers affordable bulk delivery for all of our hottest CBD goods. Does Hemp Have The “All Green” In North America?

Many newcomers to the hemp market have questions about CBD’s legality. Unfortunately, some reports still conflate the terms “cannabis,” “hemp,” and “marijuana,” even though these describe different plants. Here’s what you need to know: If hemp has less than 0.3 percent delta 9 THC, it’s legal in the USA. For more detailed info on the legality of hemp, we’d recommend reading the 2018 US Farm Bill

Please remember that Tribe CBD sends all of our products to third-party labs to test for THC content. We will never send you a tincture, edible, or topical that doesn’t meet America’s current hemp guidelines.

CBD Bikini Martini Recipe

Tribe’s CBD Bikini Martini

Like the Tequila Sunrise or the B-52 shot, the Bikini Martini is a layered drink that’s all about presentation. This drink wasn’t just named for its beach-themed flavors—it’s literally supposed to resemble a bikini.

Thankfully, it doesn’t take a ton of skill to build this cocktail. In fact, the Bikini Martini is one of the easiest layered drinks to make at home. As long as you have a standard martini glass, the grenadine will naturally fall to the bottom, thus creating the desired “bikini effect.” Indeed, if you’ve already tried our CBD Tequila Sunrise, you should have no issues creating an eye-catching Bikini Martini.

Ingredients

• 2 oz vodka
• 1 ½ oz coconut rum
• 4 oz pineapple juice
• ¼ oz grenadine
• ½ dropperful Tribe CBD oil

Directions

• Pour vodka, coconut rum, Tribe CBD oil, and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake for a few seconds
• Strain into a chilled martini glass
• Slowly pour grenadine into the center

Nowadays, we all know what a bikini is, but do you know what “bikini” means? Interestingly, there’s a coral reef in the Marshall Islands called Bikini Atoll. While designer Louis Réard promoted the bikini in the 1940s, American scientists were testing the nuclear bomb in this area. Apparently, Réard capitalized on these headlines to draw comparisons with his own “earth-shattering” swimsuit.

Although the bikini has become more accepted nowadays, it’s still a bit too risqué for some areas. For instance, police in the Maldives recently arrested a woman for wearing a bikini outside a beach area. So, if you’re going to travel to a foreign destination, always double-check your resort’s swimwear policy.

Move Over CBD—CBG Is On The Runway!

CBD may be the darling of the hemp cannabinoid market., but that doesn’t mean secondary cannabinoids aren’t making a big “fashion statement.” For instance, more customers are talking about all the wonderful benefits of a novel non-psychoactive cannabinoid called CBG. Sometimes called the “mother cannabinoid,” CBG is the parent cannabinoid for both THC and CBD. Although we don’t know as much about CBG as CBD, preliminary reports suggest it may have similar healing properties.

If you’re interested in learning more about what CBG may offer, you’ve got to check out this previous blog post. You could also take a peek at Tribe’s new CBG oil capsules here.
