Blueberries Medical, a Bogota, Colombia-based medical cannabis producer, has been cleared to produce and export CBD products from Colombian food and drug surveillance regulator Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos (INVIMA).

The five-product suite is Blueberries’ initial entry in the CBD market and includes creams, lip balm and shampoo.

The company plans to launch the product line in Colombia and Latin America in the second half of the year. The INVIMA approval is expected to help expedite the approval process in other Latin American countries.

Blueberries Medical trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange as BBM and on the U.S. over-the-counter markets as BBRRF.
